Hi All
Kindly requesting some information on ILR eligibilty
Currently I and my wife are eligible to apply for long residence.
According to UKBA site, we must apply separately.
The question
--if we apply for long residence with SET(O) separately, how can I apply for my children's settlement visa?
---Which application do I have to use for my children? SET(M) ? They were born in the UK ( 7years and 9 years old)
---Do I have to apply for them once we got the settlement or the same time ?
Any suggestion on these is greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.

After either parent is granted settlement,
register your
UK-born children as British citizens (under section 1(3)).
No need to apply for settlement for them, even if their current leave expires before either parent is granted settlement. This is assuming that that the children do not intend to travel abroad before being registered as British citizen.

Thank you very much for the useful information.
I didn't think to be able to apply for British Citizenship for children.
Thank you!

I have got a question about above topic.i have already applied ILR(10 yrs) three weeks ago.I have got two dependent, my wife and my 3 yr old son born in the uk.They have got visa for another 5 weeks. If I don't get my ILR before that I'm sending FLR(m) for my wife........can I wait to apply for citizenship for my son after I get my ILR even his visa expires before that? or shall I send FLR(m) for him as well?
