Hi,

After a long wait finally received my SAR file, outcome as follows:
Initial Workpermit and 2 extensions within time.
Further extension (transition to ICT Tier2) within time.

Final extension – had valid leave till 05/04/2011, application received by HO on 06/04/2011, payment declined, Application Rejected and sent back by HO on 13/04/2011.

Further, fresh application received by HO on 12/05/2011, application successful LTR granted for 2 years from 23/06/2011.

While making the second application my solicitor has written a covering letter explaining about the declined payment and also included a back statement to prove the funds availability.

Although I have not received any conformation, the GCID-Case record sheet says “application - In Timeâ€

Yes, the case notes for application raised on 12/05/2011says:

Type of application: Extension (Initial application prior to 06 April 2011)
In-time application?: yes
Applicant in breach of their previous condition?: No

And nowhere in the SAR file there is any mention of “out of time applicationâ€

In that case, you should be okay.
