I am an Indian national, work permit holder in UK since september 2007. My daughter joined me in December 2009 on dependent visa. After reaching UK she turned above 18. She continued her education for a year.
She worked full time and joined evening college for diploma. Now diploma is complete and she has an offer of a permanent job worth 16,000 per annum.
My question is: Should she accept the offer? If yes, can we prove that she is still dependent, though she lives with me and she is un-married. I am worried about her ILR. Will she be elligible for ILR? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Dear SusdMehta,
Thanks for the detailed information link. Please advice if 5 years completion will be a requirement for dependent child above 18. My daughter joined me in dec.2009. approx 2.25years after I moved to UK.
I will be completing 5 years in sept 2012 but my daughter will be completing 2years and 9 months continus stay in UK. Can she apply ILR with us (of cource, a seperate application). If she will leave the job next week and try to join a full time course. Will this help?
We still have approx. one year to apply for ILR.
Thanks in advance for your valuable suggetions.

Neither an adult dependant nor a child dependant of WP migrant is subject to any "qualifying residential period" (196D and 198).
