Hello friends,
I am submitting my application next week for ILR. I have a query re. counting days away from UK in 5 years.
I am cover by HSMP JR. I received my first visa stamp for 2yrs on 01/12/2006 . So my question is Do I have to count my away days spend outside UK from 01/12/2006 to 01/12/2011 ?

Pls can you advise.

Thanks

Hello SushdMehta

Thanks for your reply.

HSMP granted under HSMP JR (65 points scheme) - 23/11/2006
HSMP visa granted-01/12/2006

Hope this helps

Was it an in-country application .. i.e.- did you apply for "HSMP visa" from within UK? If not, then I ask again - when did you first enter UK as a HSMP migrant?

The date "HSMP visa granted" has no relevance to absences if you applied for entry clearance from outside the UK (after receiving your HSMP approval).

Thanks for your reply..
I applied HSMP visa within UK. I was in UK at that time of my first HSMP visa stamp.
I was on SEGS visa before.

Hope this helps and looking forward to your reply.

In that case, mention all absences from 01/12/2006 onwards when applying for settlement.
