My query is on Section 10A of SET(O) form re: cohabitation..

It asks to provide evidence of cohabitation since you were last granted leave (upto a maximum of 2 years)

i got the Tier 1 extension 3 years back and we have been living together since then. (2009,10,11).
it seems they are only looking for evidence of cohabitation in the first 2 years (2009 & 2010) and doesnt seem to bother whether we have been living together in the year immediately prior to the application.

did i get it right?

my initial hsmp (2yr) was until 20 jan 2009.
i applied before the leave expired but got the tier 1 general (3yr) extension stamp dated 29 jan 2009 due to the delay in processing.

will that be okay when i apply for ilr?
if so should i explain the reason for it somewhere...

1. Ideally, you should provide evidences of cohabitation for at least 2 years preceding the application ... but, technically, you can provide evidences covering any two year period since you and your dependant have been living together.
2. Yes.
