Tier 2 (General) Dependent - Thinking about ILR

I would appreciate if anyone who could help or show / direct me to the right direction.
HERE ARE TWO SITUATIONS:-
1) If a person stays in the UK under tier 2 general visa and stays in the country for 5 years, If they have to apply for ILR would they need to show certain income to qualify or is there any income criteria they would need to meet.
2)If a person comes and works under tier1 general visa for 2 years and then stays as tier 2 general dependent, would they qualify for ILR after 5 years of stay and would they need to show/meet any income criteria.
Thank you in Advance
