My Fiance went to Nigeria for the first time in nov since getting ilr in 2003, when travelling back, she was not allowed to travel and told to go to the British high commision to confirm her details. She took her german birth cert. when she gt bak here she was detained and apparently there was a nigerian birth certificate presented at the time of the ilr application. Her dad is still in nigeria, they gave her temp admission till he returns and they can speak to him as they suspect he may not be her dad. My question is if its not where does that leave her?? Could they deport her?

is he her dad or not? Where was she born, Nigeria or Germany?

She was born in Germany, as far as she knows its her dad and if it is everything should be fine. im just thinking about worst case scenario. A Nigerian BC was submitted when ilr applied for. The German one only surfaced when she went to nigeria and saw her mum

they could revoke her leave if they consider it was obtained by deception. She needs to seek legal advice urgently.

Well they have to do a dna test first i imagine, in anycase if it turns out its not her dad, this was all done with her being a minor, also we are engaged and im a british citizen surely this would help if it came tio that
