hi,
out of my past 12 months, 10 payslips and pay dates on the bank statements are matching but for 2 months the pay dates on the bank statements are earlier (for example, my june month payslip says paydate as 29th june but the bank statements shows my paydate as 26th june - will this be a problem ? (this has happend for 2 months) - do i need an employer letter confiriming this ? i will do this only if it a must as i dont have enough time
please advice on the above
Thanks

I'm not sure why this would happen in first place but one way to be safe is to get a letter from your employer covering the 12 month period indicating pay day and gross, net salary for each month. Make sure payday in the letter and the payslips matches for each month.
Since HO needs at least 2 evidences from different sources - employer letter in addition to pay slips and bank statements might make your case stronger. IMHO.

even i am not sure as this has not happened in the past. for 1 month, the paydate fell on a saturday so i go paid the friday before. but the payslip should had the friday date and not saturday date. I went to payroll but looks like it will take time ?
does it really matter if i go without the letter - (this has happened for 2 months and payroll say that UKBA will understand as if the pay da falls on saturday then you will get paid on Friday as banks dont accept trasactions on saturday.) - for another month the pay day is 4 days earlier 0- dont know how - could a problem with the bank statements also !

i have spoken to payroll and they say they can only give a general letter stating there were computer error for the 2 months that has the incorrect date. (the rest of hte months are fine on the bank statements) - wll this do ?
payroll dont want to give me a letter with my pay, gross salary etc for 12 months

I would be interested in finding the answer as well. My paydate on payslip and the date on which it gets deposited to the bank are always different.
My payslip lists the last day of the month on the payslip but salary gets deposited on 15th of each month in to my account i.e. about 15 days earlier

Mine is same as well. This is never an issue. As long as your HR contacts are there in the form, you should not worry.

Some banks. read BARCLAYS have some weird time limit of sending a payment before 5:30PM or 6:30PM, and if the payment is sent after that cut-off time even though the payment is credited on the same day i.e. friday in this case (via FASTER PAYMENTS), the barclays will show the transaction date of following Monday.
So for self employed showing payment from business bank account the payment date will be future (following monday) even though payment is already received in personal account on previous friday.
So amount will match-up but the dates won't.
Hopefully, some common sense should prevail!

I'm pretty much on the same situation... I've a difference between the date on payslips and salary credited in bank.
But, please see the net figures matches to the pence between salary slips and bank statements.
I don't think this should be issue as long as figure matches, lets see.
