i am due for ilr, just thought would have an up to date statement (just in case) till tomorrow. The branch refuse to stamp and sign. they can just print on letter head. is this acceptable ?

If it’s on a letter head then it doesn’t need to be signed and stamp.

The statements we get by post are generally on letter heads and are not signed and stamped, so I think you will be fine.

In my opinion its better if u ask your bank to resend the new one.
HSBC will take 5 days to deliver in branch.
