Hi,
I have gone through the posts in the forum. To show my time spent as WP holder I was going to attach a copy of WP and P60s. However, my question is that are the P60s necesary? as apart from the time spent as WP holder, the application form doesn't mention any P60s.
Reason I am asking is that I don't have the P60 for one of the years. What are my options?

They are not mandatory and not needed for HSMP or Tier-1. But the time you were on work permit/Tier-2, it would be nice to have P60s with you to cover that time.
For missing P60, you can get your employment history from HMRC. But apply for it in advance as it could take couple of weeks to arrive.

Hi,
Yes. I was on Work Permit for 2 years from Jan 31 2007 to Jan 31 2009. I switched to Tier 2 ICT under transitional arrangements as Work Permit was changed to PBS Tier 2. My visa was valid from Feb 01 2009 to Jan 31 2010.
I was transferred to India branch of my UK employer with P45 for my employment till 22/09/2009 for that financial year. I left UK on 03/10/2009 and returned on 22/11/2009. So I still had valid leave. In 2010 I got 2 year extension till Feb 2012 from Home office to take my stay to 5 years.

Your case looks fine to me, but I would still suggest taking expert opinion.
