Hi,

I'm currently in the UK under the FLRM scheme as a married partner. Once I've fulfilled my 2 years, I'll be eligible to file for set(m) which allows me Indefinitely Leave to remain.

Question: Can i work in a different city from my wife during these 2 year period? Our home in city A which my wife is paying mortgage for is our home, but during the weekdays I'll be working in a city B but will travel back every weekend.

Due to the lack of working opportunities in my current city, I may have to leave to work in City B.

Will this be accepted as having fulfilled the terms of 'living together'? I wish to be cautious so as not to void the terms of the FLRM which may jeapordise my chance to apply for Indefinitely Leave to remain under my own name. Thank you.

I am not an expert but don't think this will be an issue as long as you can proof that you are living together by 6 documents from 3 different sources corresponds to the same address. You can mention in your cover letter that due to work commitment, you need to stay in city B for 3-4 days in a week and your main home is in city A where your family resides. Please get an advice from experts in this forum before moving forward. Let me know when you are applying

Cheers.
