ILR absences out of UK - More than 300 days query

Hi,
First of all, I would like to explain my situation: I came to UK in Feb 2007 on a Work Permit and applied Tier 1 General and got it from Apr 2009 - Apr 2012. I have no issues about my absences from Feb 2007 to Jul 2009 always its a paid leave and very less out of country days.

unfortunately, I moved out of UK in Jul 2009 and was in my home country for almost 10months due to the following reasons. However, I had maintained a good amount of money in UK Bank accounts during that absent period.

1) Employment reason to move offshore for be there for some amount of time.
2) I have undergone a surgery during that 10 months period and hospitalized
3) I got married during that time.

Again I came to UK in May 2010 and working here for continuously now. As per my initial entry(Feb 2007) I am eligible for ILR at present(Feb 2012).

Can anyone suggest me my ILR application will have any problems? if so, how do I rectify by supporting my absenses? or is there any other option like (Waiting for 1 more year) and apply for by filling the 10months gap?
or apply through solicitors?

Kindly give me a clear idea and details pls.

Unless you can show some strong ties with UK while you were away, the chances are less .... you may want to get an extension and the apply for ILR ...

Something like proofs of you paying Council tax, utility bills, rents, road tax, insurance, etc etc during your absence period ...

Though am not entirely sure how much difference this would make to the application, it will surely help build a strong sentiment in your favor ...

Experts/members, your insight to this please ...

Thanks Sunil.

Is there any way to try for ILR after 10months or a year from now on? (by thinking that the gap of 10months can be aggregated in that mean time) ?

or

any other better ways? ( like support and apply through Lawyers, Solicitors, Immigration consultants...)

Any other advice from any experts please?

ya these examples make sence to me like just think for a minute if you are case worker and you can see a person is away and his all direct debts n etc are paid every month shows your ties with UK i believe.. because you didnt wanted to come back you have cancel all the direct debits.

well we have to write this in our covering letter to enforce him i belive

Yea. Unfortunately, I do not have any bills paid during that absent period. But, I maintained a good amount of balance in my account for that time continuosly until I reach here again in my second time.

I am planning for a extension at first and then give a try for ILR later. However how would I support my ILR application by covering my gap is my main thought. So that, asking help and advice from senior and experts here for my situation..

Thanks.

that is not clear that once you ave extension you will get ILR. where it is written after getting extension you can apply ILR ??

as member said you will get 2 years extension . so can you apply after 10 months ??? i dont think so

Do you suggest a covering letter even when going in person at PEO ??? as we would obviously carry a absence sheet showing the absence details, do you think a covering letter would add advantage ?

as stated by fahadz1, you wouldn't be eligible until May 2015 (i.e. counting 5 years from May 2010)
