Appointment for ILR - do I have to wait outside in a que

Hi

I have appointment at croydon tomorrow and I will reach 30 mins before my appt as advised by UKBA. Do I still have to stand in a que outside lunar house with an appt. I am going to croydon after 2004 and there used to be long que then. Please advice

Hopefully it won’t be that long this time as now they only let people with appointments in the building. The reason there used to be long queues in 2004, is because anybody could go to home office in those days.
