I am awaiting a decision on my Postal - ILR SET(O) application pending with UKBA for 29 weeks now.

I have following immigration query,

In case my ILR Application is refused after the expiry of my Tier 1 visa,
1 ) Can I make a Tier 1 extension application either immediately after ILR refusal (or) during the Appeal process ?
2) If yes then will it be deemed as an "In Time" application ?

I have only a month of leave left and this wait has already killed me big time.

I can imagine the pain, I am also on the same boat, have applied for Ilr through same day service 5 weeks ago, was asked to send more documents couple of times, provided all they needed. Been more than 10 days now, no response. My visa is going to expire in 2 weeks time

Can someone please help what we should do
