hi all,

i will be applying for ILR at the end of the year and want to apply ILR for my wife at the same time. i dont have enough documentation to show that we were living together for 2 years except bank statements at same address as she was working in different place. i dont have any other documents. is that a problem?

When you say your wife was working in a different place...do you also mean that your weren't sharing a joint address during this time?

i used to visit my wife every weekend in london. the bills like council tax/electricty bill were in our own names to the address where we lived except bank statements of my wife to my address in aberdeen. only this bank statements shows that we were living together in aberdeen. we really didnt think at that time and now for cohab documents its a problem. any suggestions would be really helpful.

MJReddy - How long over the last 2 years were you and your wife living apart?
