Previous Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)

Currently I am on PSW and I had sticker in my passport. Before PSW I was on student visa and I had BRP which i have returned to UKBA for my PSW visa extension.
To apply for my ILR (10 years long Residence) in form Set(O) version 02/2012 on page 35 section 10.1 (Have you been issued with a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) with a previous application for leave to remain
My questions
1. In mt case Previous application means "PSW VISA" application or any previous application?
2. With my PSW visa I have currently sticker in passport , Would /Should I give details of Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) which I had previous to my PSW visa?
3. In section 10 (3) reson for returned Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) to ukba would be "application for PSW visa"?
I would be thankkful to you if any one who know correct information can Kindly reply Please....
