Dear all,

I am due to apply for ILR at Croydon on 30th March. My query is can I claim for March salary: Pay day was 15th March but the salary slip shows the salary month end to as 31st March and I can not exclude March pay.
Immigration history: HSMP+Tier 1.

Thanks

Hi VK82

Yes, you can claim March salary.

I claimed March 2012 earning for my successful ILR application. My pay day was 9th March and the same date was written on the payslip. In the form, I wrote that I was claiming earning for the period 01 April 2011 to 31 March 2012.

Cheers

Thanks for the quick response Lawee. Its a very tricky situation, if the CW decide to ignore my March pay then I will not qualify hence I am a bit paranoid.

Will appreciate a few more response.

Thanks.

Caseworkers count the day when you get paid earning in your account not the period when you worked to earn it, if you know what I mean.
As long as your payday is within 12 months bracket, you're good to go.
