Hi,

I need to know if the Salary as per ILR requirements can consist of salary+dividends for contractors working as private ltd companies.

I am planning on taking 8k as salary and rest as dividends for the year. Will this still be considered as having sufficient income?

Yes. Shouldn't be an issue as long as you can support it with corresponding documents; i.e. Salary slips, bankstatements, dividend vouchers also letter from accountant stating the breakup.
In this regard I would also suggest you provide company bank statements showing the transactions.
