URGENT question regarding names in the confirmation letter

Hi
I'm trying to get my MP to find what's the situation with my & my husbands applications. I'm the main applicant, and my husband is the dependent on my application. After we posted the application with all the docs, we received a confirmation letter, with a reference number, but it was addressed only to myself and that it is in connection to my application. I thought it was a standard procedure that the dependent's names are not in the confirmation letter.
The MP called the BA office, he couldn't get through to the caseworker, but the person answering the call said that the reference nr I gave him, was covering only my application and he has nothing on the system for my husband.
I'm dead worried now. Please share your experience regarding what you'be got in your confirmation letter, and how it worked for you.
Thank you!

the standard acknowledgment letters generally only mention the main applicant. The person who your MP spoke to would not have been a caseworker. Your husband's application should be linked to yours but the reference number will relate to you. hope this makes sense. when did you apply?
