self employment.....pls help urgently

hello to all the honorable members of this great forum.My wife has just started self employment as a caterer cooking for people.she doesnt have any staff and does it herself as a sole trader.my question is that does she have to open a business account or it is ok for her clients to pay into her personal account?will UKBA accept payment into her personal account instead of a business account?

The tax authorities (HMRC) always suggest to keep separate the business activities from personal activities and open business accounts but for UKBA it won't be an issue as long as the self employment is economically active. Refer to the following thread about self employment:
