I just need to clarify a few things. This is my story
I moved to the UK in February 2007 on a working holiday visa valid for 2 years. Met my wife ( an EEA national) and we got married in November 2008. Received my residence card in July 2009 valid till July 2014. Automatically qualified for PR in November 2013( according to the rules) but only made the application for PR in July 2014 and got PR in August( ya it was pretty quick, I kid you not). My question(s) is:
1. According to the guidance notes in the naturalisation booklet, you would need to have lived in the UK for continuous 6 yrs to apply for BC if you are an EEA national or a family member. That's the 5yr qualifying period plus 1 year of holding the PR. Since I now have the PR, would I still be able to apply for BC after November 2014, seeing that would be 6 yrs been a family member of an EEA? And if yes, do I need to provide them with the same documents I did when applying for PR i.e my wife's passport and her other details?
I am aware that I could alternatively wait till next August to apply, but just wanted to check if this could be done sooner.
Some assistance to this effect would be appreciated.
