EEA Residence - New Passport

Dear Forum,

I am a South African with a 5 year residence card which expires September 2016, due to travelling extensively my existing SA passport which is valid to 2020 has my Residence card inside it attached like a visa, do I need to submit a query to UKBA to get a new one placed in my passport or do I travel with the existing passport?

Not really for this forum but not sure where I can post the question, I also have an American Visa valid for 10 years and a Schengen Circulation visa valid till the end of November. Any insight on what I may need to do? I understand wrong forum but any advice would be appreciated...
