EEA Family Visa Holidays

Post by Sonamoura » Thu Oct 02, 2014 6:28 pm

Dear Sir or Madam,
Iam new here, some doubts about EEA permit:
this is my situation:

I am an european national, i have Austrian citizenship and i live in Austria.

I am married to a Tunisian man since almost 5 years but we are living together in Austria since 2 years .

we want to go visit London during the new year eve ( from 29/12/2014 till 02/01/2015 ) just 3 days

i thought of applying for a family EEA permit or A simple tourist Visa .

1 we are travelling together/going back to Vienna together
2. we are married
3. i dont have actually a job. ( is that a problem)
4. my husband has a job and he can take a paper that he will be in UK just for 4 days

as we are in Austria, the documents from Tunisian/Austrian authorities are German or Arab, do we have to provide a sworn translation legalized by the court of first instance ofAustria ( or other),.

I do have to write a letter what should be written in the letter?

I never been in UK before

we have been together to All europeans countries

My husband has been refused a tourist via to USA in 2005 before coming to Europe.

What type of visa should he apply for ? and what are the documents ?

thank you so much for your time.

Danke

During the first three months of a visit the EEA national does not have to be a 'qualified person'. Whether or not you are working in another EEA country is irrelevant to an application for a family permit in respect of a short visit to UK.
