RC in Germany need EEA permit to enter UK with partner?

Hi everyone,
my name is Tommy and Rescidence in Germany.I'm non eu Citizen but living in Germany with Partner. We're married since 2012 (same-sex). My partner is German citizen. We want to visit London during Christmas, i think i need eea family permit visa before going to UK, it right? and EEA family permit free of charge? but we want to visit London for short time. Can i aslo apply for EEA permit? but we have time only 4 weeks until Christmas i'm not sure if we will get a visa before Chistmas because it takes time about 3-4 weeks. Or can i enter uk with my partner and we bring all document about our relationship, example married certificate? but i think complicated at the airline check in and UK boder at the airport. Anyone who has experience help me please. Thank you so much
