Retained right of residence and PR

Post by Mahin » Wed Feb 11, 2015 12:08 am

Hi guys

I got a divorce from an eea member in may 2012 base on domestic violence which is 1 and half years since we got married. After divorce i applied for the right to retain uk residence and i got another spouse visa for 5 years.
But problem is i am divorced but on visa it says i'm still married.... And im member of eea family ...
And now i want to apply for PR

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

After retaining your rights, your new Resident Card will still say "The Card of Family Member of EEA NAtional".

So there's nothing to worry about as along with the new residence card you should have received a letter stating that you retained your rights of residence.
