PR and Naturilisation

Post by Rihana » Sun Apr 26, 2015 8:19 am

Hi,

I'm a german national came to UK in February 2008. Since may 2008 I started to work and still working without any gaps(excercising treaty rights).
In October 2008 I moved in with my Boyfriend, who was a refugee that time, but i know him since my childhood.

Now my question is:

In october 2008 i moved in with my boyfriend and got married to him in June 2010. Can he apply for British passport based on living together since october 2008? Or does he need to wait until June 2015(five years residency based on marriage) to apply for PR then apply for Naturilisation in 2016?

We both working full time since 2008 and never got absence from UK for more than 30 days.

The applications are bit confusing.
Please help me to identify the right application form.

Thank you in advance

Did your husband apply for and get an EEA residence card as your unmarried partner before your marriage? If not, then the 5 year count for PR starts from the date of your marriage.
