Renouncing British citizenship and subsequent status for EEA national

Will renouncing British citizenship result in reverting to permanent EEA resident (as per relevant certificate issued before BC) or will it "reset" to zero my status?

We've discussed the question before, and came to no conclusion.

Note that if it were successfully contended that you can no longer sponsor your wife, her PR clock would already have been reset to zero.
