Considering applying for EEa route

I can’t seem to grasp this route.
I am Moroccan with Spanish residency and my husband is English and we have a 9 month old son. We have both been living in Spain for last 2 years. My husband travels to UK and he has a house there. I want to able to travel to UK with him at times and possibly settle there one day

We all want to be able to go see my husbands patterns and family so they can see our son etc... it seems weird that we can’t just jump on a plane to be able to see my husbands family.

Is it me who has to apply in Spain to get this family residence card? Or do I apply to the UK government?

What do I need to provide to the relavant agencies either in Spain or UK in order to acquire this card?

If I get the card in Spain is it a simple matter of then just travelling with him when I get it?

Any advice would be very welcome
