CSI for eea family member residence permit

Hello,
Can anyone help me with an information before applying for UK residence permit as EEA family member (non-EU)? I'm currently in the UK and need to apply for a residence permit as spouse of a Greek citizen working in UK as self-employed.Do I need a CSI as a condition for my application not to be refused?
