Immigration background and likeliness of being granted pre-settled/settled status

Hello, I REALLY need some help!

I came to the Uk in 2012 on a child visitor visa when I was 15, before my visa expired my grandma fell ill so my aunt applied for me to say here with her and her family in May 2013, the application was refused and after May tribunals and appeals I was detained in June 2015 but then released following a diagnosis of PTSD. I currently sign on every six months and have never abscond.

In 2016 I met my current partner and we now have a son who was born in the UK. We have been living together since September 2016 and would like to apply to the pre-settled/ settled scheme. My partner is Slovakia and has lived here for 16 years.
Since entering the Uk I have not left, but I am aware that my time here may not count towards my application as I was not granted with any residency ( only continued residency as long as I reside at my current address and sign on as directed by HO)

Is it likely that I would be successful in my application?

Note that if you are not married to your Slovakian partner, you do not acquire rights under the EEA Regulations before Brexit until you are issued a Residence Card by the Home Office.

Your present illegal residence should not impact your application for pre-settled status, but will impact any future application for British citizenship. Under present rules, you will be ineligible for British citizenship until ten years after becoming legally resident in the UK.
