Missing/Lost documents please help

I really need some advise - my lawyer sent my permanent resident application on the 19th of March 19 - I had not heard any update from my lawyer so I chased her on the 9th and she said she had no news- I asked her to track delivery of my documents and she kept stalling and giving me various reasons for possible delays. Today I insisted on her giving me the tracking number only to discover that her assistant had put wrong address and had been sent to 3 different locations by parcel force. On the 16th parcel force claim to have finally delivered it to the ho in Liverpool however there is no proof of signature. I’ve tried to call the ho to confirm receipt and they claim not to have access and can only give timelines and basic information. Does anyone know if there is a number to call or address to write to to request confirmation. The solicitor also sent a cheque to pay for the fees and that hasn’t cleared. I am beyond stressed I don’t know what to do especially with no reference number or factual tracking details. Please help.
