Permanent residence expiring soon

Post by Kaka46 » Sat May 04, 2019 11:23 am

Hi everyone New to this forum. I hope I have posted in right place. I will straight get to the point. I am asking this question on behalf of my sister.

My sister arrived uk in 2003 as dependant of my dad. My dad at that time holded Portuguese passport. My sister was born in india but I believe she is classed as extended member of EEA. She was granted permanent residence for 10 years which about to expire soon this year November. What are her options now. If she goes through ILR route does she have to do Life in uk and English test ( she is really poor in English so we are trying to avoid this route if possible). I have read something about getting settled status for Eu residence can she go through that route she holds indian passport but has PR through my dad who was EEA that time.

Any thoughts and sound advice would be great.

Thank you.
