Marrying as Tier 4 student to EU citizen in UK

Hi, would love some help if anyone’s still here haha! We are in the same situation, I am on tier 4, gave notice to marry an EU National. However, my visa expires in the end of January 2020, so in 2,5 months. How likely is it that they will extend out period to 70 days? We have been living together for over a year. I am just worried because my visa expires so soon. Thank you!

In my case they decided not to do a further investigation and got the approval in 28 days. If theg are not convinced about geniunity of your relationship they can decide to investigate for 70 days, but probably you’ll hear back from them in 28 days like I did.
