EU Settlement: Pre-Settled Status.

Post by Shine11 » Fri Sep 04, 2020 10:07 am

Hello Everyone,

I hope you all doing well and keeping safe in the pandemic. I submitted an application for Pre-Settled Status and asked to submit my Biometrics at a UKVCAS centre as I’m a Non-EU citizen married to an EU citizen (granted settled status already) in the UK.

The online application was pretty straight forward and had to submit basic details related to immigration along with our marriage certificate.

Im getting concerned as the date of appointment is approaching and I don’t know what other documents do I need to take at the UKVCAS centre.
Tried to find information and even contacted them but didn’t get a clear response.

Along with my passport and BRP Card, Do I need to take my husband passport? Also do I need to take bank statements or other documents as a proof of address to the centre.

There was no such thing asked about proof of address in the application.

I would appreciate, if you could shed some light over this. Also, if someone has been through this already and share a checklist of documents, that would be great.

Thank you.

Your appointment is for biometrics only so your passport and BRP should be sufficient, as proof of identity, unless you have paid for some kind of document checking service. Presumably you have uploaded all required documents. Your invitation should state what additional documents are required, if applicable..
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
