I am a US citzen and my husband is an EU citzen and he is living and worling in the UK.
Note: I am not working in the UK.
I applied for recidence card EEA2 on 7-2-2012 and i did recive the certificatate of application (COA).
When i entered the UK i got a 6 month entry stamp that will expire on 1-6-2012.
My husband and I are planning to travel between 19-5-2012 to 5-6-2012.

1. Can I re-enter the UK in this case with my passport and COA?
2. Do i have to apply for entry clearance in the country i travel to befoe coming to the UK? if yes does it cancel my EEA2 application.

If anyone had been in this situation please advise.

Thanks in advance

Being a non visa national you should have no problem boarding a plane and hence there is no need for an entry clearance. Once in front of the IO, just present the CoA and it should be enough. I would also carry in the hand luggage your marriage certificate + proof of your spouse exercising treaty right - just in case although I don't believe you will need it.

To answer one of your concerns. Your entry will not affect your residence card application. Be advised that if the UKBA don't have your passport, you will be issued with RC on a rather large inconvenient piece of paper.
