Yes: As long as you are legally in Ireland, then your wife is also legally there. And if she is there legally then she can trivially travel to the UK. Drive to Belfast and go to Ikea (which is a great way to challenge any marriage).

Maybe: If you wife does not currently have a obviously valid visa, then you need to refer to the next paragraph.

Thanks... So there really shouldnt be a problem with my spouse (on an irish EEA route visa) going to the UK with me for a couple of weeks to visit family etc..

Is your spouse's visa valid?

The only problem you might have is getting on an airplane from Dublin. If the airline checks for visas and does not know the law, they might expect that your wife needs a visa. So in this area, your mileage may vary.

I would urge you to print and carry with you the content of each of the links I sent you. As well as the marriage certificate.
