hi, i feel so confused right now and if you could help i would be so grateful. i've been in london with my student visitor visa (which means i don't have work permit) since last october and i've been staying with my boyfriend since then. we engaged 20 july and decide to marry in london. so we took a date for marriage at 19 september and unfortunately my visa is going to expire at 30 september.

so here is the question. which one should i apply? eea family permit or eea2 residence card? or should i apply family permit first and then the residence card?

my boyfriend is from holland. we've been together since 5 year. he is working here in london more than a year. when he decided to live in london last year, i quit my job and came here just to be with him. we're both from turkey but he has eu citizenship cause he was born in holland.

we're going to marry and apply here, i'm currently living here with him already. so what is the solution???

In general, if in the UK, residence card. If outside, family permit.

None whatsoever. After getting married you become a family member of EU citizen, and thus, according to the EU law can stay in the UK with or without visa or resident card. It is better to apply for a residence card if you need to work and travel outside of the UK, but if you don't plan either of those, you might as well apply for a residence card next year or the year after that.

i need to have a work permit immediately and for our wedding party we should go to turkey because our families are waiting for us. Thanks for your answers. i always think that it must be a family permit but yesterday my friend told me that it is something different. Then i started to search and confused.

One last question; am i going to need any professional help? Because yesterday i also spoke with a lawyer and he wants 500 pounds for all paper work. i belive in lawyers but 500 pound? And dont worry about my english my boyfriend is like a native speaker.

You won't get one. Your right to work is dependent on your relationship to EU spouse living in the UK in accordance with the regulations.

Do yourself a favour and read the forms. If they are too hard for you and you can spare the cash (I doubt either is true), you could use a lawyer.
