hello all,

does any one know how to go about cancelling a sponsership the visa. we are no longer together and i am not in the uk but my ex partner used the visa to get back into uk. we have not been together since january this year when i left the uk. he returned recently on the 5 year permit.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

You cannot cancel a Residence Card. However, you can inform UKBA about the change of circumstances (as you described here), and then it is up to them to take any action that they see fit, which could include revoking the RC of your ex.
