I am about to write an email of complaint to the UKBA about crossing the 6 month time frame for issuing my husband's RC.

Does anyone know what exactly the European Law says about it?
Could someone post the quote on that topic, please?

I am also trying to find a proper telephone number where I could speak to a real person and not an answering machine. Any suggestions?

Both directive 2004/38/EC and the Immigration Regulations (EEA) 2006 specify said limit.
