This forum has been really resourceful and helpful to me throughout my years of been a family member of an EEA. I was guided on this forum before getting my 5yrs RC in 2007 and till I receive my PR in 2012 by retention right. I was married to an eea wife but my divorced was finalised in sept.2011 which was the 5th year of our marriage having got married in sept. 2006. My PR was granted through retention right only couple of day ago. It will be exactly 6yrs after been married to an eea. My question is, can I apply for my British citizenship straight away having spent 6yrs after been married even though I only got my PR. Response will be appreciated thanks everyone

Yes you can but that depends if you are able to get your ex support (her passport & documents again). If in no rush, it is simpler to wait.
