Family Reunion

Dear Sir/Madam

I have a problem and I need some advice, I was given a 5years resident card under the European law in 2009.I got married few week ago back home in Africa, is it possible to apply for my wife to come to UK.

- If yes which form can I use.

On what basis were you granted this Residence Card

My brother got married to a Polish and he applied for as a family member and I was granted 6 months,4 months later I applied for 5 years under the European law and it was given to me .

Well, unfortunately the EEA regulations does not provide for residency for the wife of a dependant family member of an EEA national.

She is studing as well and presently in master1,can she apply for a student visa?if yes what condition must she fulfil.

I cannot comment on that, even if i can, it will not be appropriate for this section of the forum. You spouse will need to apply for a genuine course, which she intends to pursue, and meets the tier 4 criteria, then she may be issued an Entry Clearance.

It is important to stress that such Entry Clearance will not be for her to come and join you, but to pursue a genuine course, subject to her meeting the English Language, Maintenance and Accommodation requirements, of course.
