In-Person Applications - Retention of Rights?

 I'm really hoping someone on here can give me some insight as I can not get through to the UK Border Agency for the life of me. Tried three times today and to be honest, who can afford those hefty 0845 call charges especially when they make you wait in the queue for 20-30minutes at a time...

Anyway, is there any chance that a Non-EU Family member can apply in person, say in Croydon for their premium service on the grounds of Retention of Rights? My divorce proceedings are going through, been married for 6 years already and lived in the UK for all of them...

No. Only EEA can apply at Croydon. The service has never been for nonEEA family members.

Also you can call 0151 672 5626 which is the real number behind 0845 so no expensive calls any more.

If you have been under the EEA regulations for more than 5 years, you could apply for Permanent Residence using form EEA4 (based on RoR).

And it is only offered for EEA1 application, not PR and normally there are no available slots in the next 3 months so it is quicker to send by post.

Is there any indication on how long they currently take to process ROR?
