Self sufficient through EEA family member's job?

Will I qualify as EEA citizen exercising treaty rights (self-sufficient) if my wife who is non EEA citizen works?
I ask this since I am confused, she ll be able to work because I'll be self-sufficient and I'll be self-sufficient because she'll work....
Of course I am planning to look for a job as soon as we will move to the UK, and I know that any job(even part time) will make our application much much easier

try to find job even part time its better you will be exercising treaty right and will be busy rather than getting bored at home.

Ok then, we qualify as self sufficient.
Is her salary enough(about 27k before tax anually), or we should appear to them a certain amount of money in a savings account?
I have to notice that her employer will be more than trustable from UKBA, as it is a semi-govermental research institute of the UK.

there is no saving/salary limit and 27k looks a very handsome figure. Any regular income/saving will serve this purpose.

Main thing is that the applicants should never appear to be able to be in position to receive any sorts of benefits from the UK gov.
I read in some of the official docs / directive; it was mentioned that the income should be at least bit more than what made a UK national eligible for social assistance. (I am not sure what is that limit)
