Hello all,
My wife has been granted the EEA family permit. She is an afghan national, and applied in pakistan (islamabad), now my question is: can she travel from afghanistan (kabul) using the eea fp to the UK instead from pakistan? or must she travel from the country that she has applied from?
plz plz your urgent response is much appreciated.
Thank you

hi ravvi, thanks for your quick response, I have rang gerrys in pakistan and UKBA they are totally useless and couldnt provide me with an answer.
Do you know, whether the flight must be a non stop one, i.e. from afghanistan straight to the UK or can it be a transit one. i.e. afghanistan to dubai and then to the uk?

Direct or in direct flight does not matter.your wife is a holder of EEA family permit and that's all she needs.

Try this website for information. Note that while the UK does not care where your wife flies from or stops-over, but some transiting countries
might.
