hi all,
i was just reading about request on return of document and i find this part :
"Requesting the return of documents for European and nationality applications will not speed up the decision-making process as all cases are considered in strict date order"...
if all cases are considered in strict date order than how can some people who submitted their EEA4 application after my date of submission, have received their PR already. that clearly shows HO doesnot work in strict date order...
i know there is nothing we can do about this but i think it is unfair for those who is waiting (like me) longer period.[/b]

The strict date order can only apply to the moment that a case is assigned to a caseworker. However, the time a caseworker needs to decide a case can also vary widely.
If you lived at the same address all those five years, never travelled abroad en your EU family member always worked for the same employer, the case is obviously more straightforward than when you moved house a few times, travelled abroad quite a lot (and came close to the maximum of six months absence per year that is allowed), or when during part of the five years CSI was also required, etc.

Yes,I have lived on same add, same work for over past 5 years...my case is straightforward and my husband has actually got his naturalisation few months ago,so they should have all his data on their system.I don't understand what their difficulty in issuing my pr wen its straightforward,no complication...
