It s almost 5 months and no PR, i called the solicitor to ask if she can contact the HO, she said, i have to wait untill the end of 6months then after that we have to chase them. She urged me not to rush them otherwise they mite make it longer. Patience is the key, inshallah soon we will hear good news

well, you can't rush them and we just have to wait. but reading some of the threads of some people on this forum, they are waiting 7 months and still no news. i am getting worried as i hope i won't be in that situation. i need my pr TO SHOW MY WORK PLACE PLUS NEXT MONTH, I AM TRAVELLING WITH MY SON TO VISIT MY grandma. i really wish my pr will come before i travel, though my rc is still valid till may.

Most of the straightforward applications have their PR within 6 months or even less. The home office is now aware that exceeding the time given can b a breach of the european regulations so they have stick to the rules. Most of the delays happen in cases of retention of rights. I'm saying this not only as a wishful thinking but also as to comfort myself and everyone who s waiting.

Hello guys have you had any information yet. I am still waiting but no reply from home office. It's been five months and four days now. Is this normal?

Yes, very few success stories lately.

Ours is now 5 months and 17 days old, and "SHOULD" come any day now. We are just busy with moving house, so don't really need it. But would be nice to get now to get over with all the uncertainty.
