EEA partner as contractor - how to fill EEA2 form

Hi folks,
I'm a slovakian(EEA) citizen working as a contractor in UK. My company is in Slovakia and it's sending me to UK for longterm business trips.
My wife is non-EEA and she would like to stay with me in UK and work.
In her EEA2 form I need to prove that I'm exercising Treaty rights.
Am I a worker - should I ask my slovakian company to confirm that I'm employed?
Or am I a self-sufficient person - should I give them my bank account statements from slovakian bank?
Another question - will UKBA return our original documents prior giving application result. Meaning my work contract and our original wedding certificate? I know I can request passports, but what about other documents?
Thanks for any help
