application withdrawal

I applied to retain my right to stay in the UK as a divorced person a while ago because I divorced my EEA national spouse. I have just discovered in order to qualify, my ex spouse had to be exercising treaty right till before or even just at that time of divorce. I do not meet this requirement at all, obviously it will be refused.
I have not been working for a while in the UK and thought of withdrawing my application and leaving the UK voluntarily. Would the UKBA reject my withdrawal request?

No! From what i know once you have decided to withdraw your application with reasonable reason / evidence to substantiate that , then abovious pretty sure they will send all you documnet back in no time.
But i give way to my senior advisers to disagree to agreed this fact.

After getting all my documents back, including my passport, how soon will I be required to leave the UK? Is there any specific time limit? Or I can leave at my convenience.
Obviously I need enough time to get ready (as far as I know it takes about 7 days to get packing boxes for shipping my luggage). On the other hand I do not want to have an illegal stay record (i.e, overstay in the UK).
Thanks

There is nothing stopping you from withdrawing your application and leaving the UK if you so wish.

With in 28 days if you leave the country voluntary then you will not consider as an over stay.remember this is not mentioned in EU directive.but under uk immigration rules,i.e tier etc,
