Hello,

I have been living in UK with my EU partner since June 2007. I had a work permit back then. As we got married in August 2009, I got a residence card of a family member of an EEA national (since Dec 2009). I wonder if I can still apply for EEA4. Or am I not eligible yet as I did not hold a family member residence until 2009 Dec?

Many thanks,

Nil

Five years post marriage seems to be your qalification date.

Time spent as holder of work permit, does not count.

August 2014 will likely be your key date.
