About to cease employment in the United Kingdom

Hi,
I am a citizen of the Czech Republic, and I have been employed full-time in the United Kingdom for 1 year in total. I wish to discontinue my employment for 4 months. Does this mean I have to leave the United Kingdom for these 4 months, unless I obtain comprehensive health insurance, since I will no longer be treated as a "qualified person" under Immigration (EEA) Regulations 2006?
What if I still stay in the UK for these 4 months without obtaining the insurance? Will I be committing an immigration offense?

Well it will not be offence,
But you will face problem when you apply for pr so either claim job seeker or get csi if you wants to apply for pr in future
Otherwise u will be fine. That's what I believe if I am wrong then one of the guru will give u right answer

What will you be off work for? Will you be on leave with your employer?
You will not be committing any offence at all

Obie,
I just don't want to work for my current employer. I am sick and tired of my present job. Just want to take a 3-4 months break, and then I'll start looking for employment.
According to the Immigration (EEA) Regulations 2006, I can only live here if and only if I am a
1. Worker
2. Self-employed
3. Student
4. Self-sufficient person (which involves having a comprehensive sickness insurance)
If I am neither of the four, I don't have a right to live here, despite my Czech citizenship. Or at least that's what the legislation seems to suggest. So I am kind of confused. I'll call up the UKBA tomorrow. See what they say (assuming they pick up the phone).

Well in this case then apply for job seeker and u will be safe, yes according to regulation u have no rights but you don't need to inform ukba no point just leave the job and then start looking for other one it will only problem when u apply for permanent residance

The regulation does not say any of the sort.
It states that you have to be a qualified person to be in the UK in accordance with the EEA regulations, but it does not say that only qualified EEA national should be in the UK.
Furthermore, you will be seeking employment, at registered at Job centres.
By virtue of this, you will qualify to reside in UK in accordance with the regulations.
